Grenadian Kelvin Dragon has been named Pharmacist of the Year

The Caribbean Association of Pharmacists (CAP) has awarded Grenadian Kelvin Dragon the title of Pharmacist of the Year.

Dragon received the honor during the closing ceremony of the 45th annual conference of the Caribbean Association of Pharmacists, held at the State House Conference Centre in Dominica over the weekend.

Mr. Dragon said he is humbled to have received the prestigious Caribbean award.

Several Dominicans were recognized during the awards ceremony of the Caribbean Association of Pharmacists.

Rick Blaize was nominated for the Caribbean Pharmacy Youth Leader Award and secured second place.

Jolly’s Pharmacy also achieved second place, receiving the Caribbean Sigma Award, which honors exemplary pharmacies and their contributions to the profession.

Additionally, three Dominicans were nominated for the Lifetime Achievement Award: Florence Dover, Jemma George, and Stella Giddens. Next year’s Caribbean Association of Pharmacists conference will be held in Jamaica.
