Head Coach of the Dominica Senior Women’s National Football Team, Ronnie Gustave, says there are still positives to take from the team’s World Cup qualifying campaign, despite a heavy defeat to Nicaragua over the weekend.
Dominica suffered a 14-nil loss in their final match of the qualifiers, bringing a challenging campaign to a close.
Gustave acknowledged the difficult results but pointed to signs of progress within the squad.
He also urged the public to consider the level of competition, noting that several of the opposing teams fielded players competing at the professional level.
