Head coach of Dominica’s track and field team at the ANOECS games in St Kitts, Joel Hamilton, says he is expecting some positive results as the competition gets underway on the weekend.
Dominica is participating in the event for the first time in almost 10 years.
Eight athletes will be competing in various events for Dominica.

The team will feature Shot putter Jamical Titre.
Also on the team are Khaarim Jno Baptiste and Khumar Jno Baptiste, who will participate in both the Triple Jump and High Jump events.
NyCarl Williams will participate in the javelin, Keyoni Esprit in the 100 and 200-meter events, and Akeisha Luke in the 400 and 800-meter events. Jeriah Lewis and Jaden Joseph in the long jump.
