Parliament approves a bill for the process of voter confirmation to begin in Dominica.

The Parliament of Dominica has approved the Registration of Electors Amendment Bill, which allows for an extension of the voter confirmation process.

The electoral commission has requested this extension to begin the Voter confirmation process to begin in October 2025.

Attorney General Levi Peter introduced the bill in Parliament this morning.

Meantime, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says this decision supports the request of the electoral commission.
