Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture with specific responsibility for Agro-Processing Lakeyia Joseph states the agro-processing industry has significantly contributed to the agriculture sector.
Her comments came at a brief ceremony to mark the distribution of tables valued at EC $270,000 to agro-processors this morning.
The tables were procured under the Emergency Agricultural Livelihoods and Climate Resilience Project (EALCRP) through the Ministry of Blue and Green Economy, Agriculture and National Food Security.
