The Police have opened an investigation into a report of a missing fisherman from Atkinson.
According to Police Public Relations Officer ASP (Ag) Fixton Henderson, sometime about 6:30 am on Saturday, 29th August 2026, Richard Davis, a male adult from Atkinson, went fishing on the rocks on the sea shoreline in an area called Big River in Atkinson. Since then, he has not been seen.
The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force, including the Coast Guard, has been searching and continues to search for the missing fisherman.
