President of Dominica her Excellency Sylvanie Burton has condemned all acts of violence within the Caribbean, saying there is no place in the region for war.
Her Excellency was addressing world leaders at the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York today.
The Session is being held under the theme “Better Together: 80 years and more for Peace, Development and Human Rights.”
President Burton also told the UN General Assembly that the time has come for the concerns of Small Island Developing States to be properly addressed.
