President of the Dominica Association of Teachers Mervin Alexander has taken issue with a statement by Education Minister Octavia Alfred about the permanent appointment of teachers.
The Minister said this week the appointment of teachers was delayed because of late submission of appraisals.
Mr. Alexander does not agree.
