Students of the Goodwill Secondary School to be relocated to the Newtown Primary for the new school term in January

The Ministry of Education has announced that students of the Goodwill Secondary School will be relocated to the Newtown Primary for the new school term in January.

Acting Chief Education Officer Dr. Jeffrey Blaize says the decision was taken to facilitate the completion of construction works on the Dominica Grammar School.

The students of the Goodwill Secondary were housed at the Dominica Grammar School following the passage of Hurricane Maria.

Dr. Blaize says the Ministry of Education held discussions with parents and stakeholders of the both Institutions before going ahead with the plan.

He adds the Ministry will ensure the necessary resources are put in place for the transportation of students to and from the location.
