The Creole language set to be introduced into Dominica’s school curriculum for the upcoming academic year

The Ministry of Education has announced plans to introduce the Creole language into Dominica’s school curriculum for the upcoming academic year.

Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Robert Guiste made the announcement during the finals of the DBS Radio, Felix Henderson national reading competition on Wednesday.

Guiste says the Ministry is collaborating with the Konmité Pou Etid Kwéyòl (KEK) to achieve this goal.
