The Independent Regulatory Commission (IRC) is embarking on site visits to various electricity generation projects, as part of its mandate to ensure a reliable and adequate electricity supply.
The goal of this is to build generation capacity to meet the increasing demand for energy nationally, while also reducing DOMLEC’s reliance on fossil fuels for electricity generation.
The first site visit was to DOMLEC’s Fond Cole Plant.
