The Minister for National Security has denied suggestions that the DLP Administration is attempting to suppress free expression

Minister for National Security Rayburn Blackmoore has denied suggestions that the Dominica Labour Party administration is attempting to suppress free expression.

His comments come as some have criticized the arrests of 25 people who were protesting the passage of three electoral reform bills in Parliament on March 19.

Mr. Blackmoore also confirmed that the protestors did not seek permission from the Police Chief for the assembly.

The National Security Minister has called for a national mobilization and education process against disinformation in Dominica.
