The West Bridge will be renamed in honor of Phyllis Shand Allfrey, one of the founders of the Dominica Labour Party in 1955.
The announcement was made by Political leader of the Dominica Labour Party prime minister Roosevelt Skerrit during the launching of activities in observance of the Dominica Labour Party’s 70th anniversary.
The ceremony was held at the Labour House this morning.
