Dominica’s Olympic champion Thea Lafond-Gadson finished fourth in the women’s triple jump final at the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship in Budapest, Hungary, on Sunday.
Lafond-Gadson recorded a best jump of 14.47 metres to secure fourth place.
Senegal’s Saly Sarr claimed the title with a jump of 15.06 metres, while Cuba’s Velazco claimed second and Leyanis Pérez Hernández, also of Cuba completed the podium with marks of 15.04 metres and 14.90 metres, respectively.
