31 individuals, small businesses and organizations recognized by the Dominica Youth Business Trust

The Dominica Youth Business Trust (DYBT) has recognized 31 individuals, small businesses and organizations.

The awards ceremony at the State House Conference Centre last night marked the 20th anniversary of the Dominica Youth Business Trust.

Among the awardees were top bee keeper Nathaniel Lovelle of LAVIE MIEL and Rudy Defoe the CEO and owner of Liberty Car Care Services in Loubiere.

The Dominica Youth Business Trust also recognized Cendy Poponne of Coulibrie in Grandbay, who operates BEFORE SUNRISE COCO STICKS.

Another DYBT awardee was Avena Prince who operates ROYAL GLOBAL INC near HHV Whitchurch in Roseau.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit who introduced the Dominica Youth Business Trust in 2004 said the program will be expanded.

Minister for Youth and Community Development Gretta Roberts said the programs of the Dominica Youth Business Trust over the last 20 years have nurtured young minds in Dominica.

A special award from the Dominica Youth Business Trust went to Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit.
