A Venezuelan man charged in connection with the shooting death of Kent George has been released from custody at the Dominica State Prison, having spent just over 5 years on remand.
A 9-member jury was directed to find Romer Alberto Vargas not guilty of murder, but guilty of manslaughter, as he changed his plea shortly before the commencement of his trial.
