The Marigot Hospital is celebrating one year of service.
In a press statement, the Dominica Hospitals Authority stated that over the past year the Marigot Hospital has served the Marigot District by providing access to quality healthcare services, including specialist clinics, urgent care services, pharmacy, X-rays, ECG and other diagnostic services.
The statement further added that in July 2024, a new dental service was introduced further enhancing access to medical provisions for residents within the surrounding communities.
The Dominica Hospitals Authority also said that over the last year, through the services offered at the Marigot Hospital, a total of seventy specialist clinics were held and care was administered to over three thousand, five hundred patients at the urgent care.
The statement also highlighted that in the coming months the Dominica Hospitals Authority will expand services as the Government moves towards full utilization of the Hospital.
The Dominica Hospitals Authority further reaffirmed its committed to delivering quality, people-centered care at both the Dominica China Friendship Hospital and the Marigot Hospital.
