The Kommité Pou Etid Kwéyòl (KEK) says the teaching of the Creole Language in schools remains high on its agenda

Former Chief Cultural Officer and Chairman of Kommité Pou Etid Kwéyòl (KEK) Raymond Lawrence has said the teaching of the Creole Language in schools remains high on the Committee’s agenda.

Lawrence says the Committee is hoping to continue discussions with the Ministry of Education to ensure the materialization of this.

He told the Creole Heartbeat Program on DBS Radio, a few initiatives to promote the Creole Language have been introduced over the years.
