The Police Sports Club have won their first game in over two years as the DABA Basketball League continued on Wednesday.
Police took down Marigot Sunrise in a tightly contested affair at the Massacre Indoor facility.
Police won the game 81-78 with captain of the Police Sports Club, Daniel Ormund hitting a 3-pointer on the buzzer to send his team into celebrations.
The Police team were also leading by 11 points with a few minutes to go but the Sunrise team rallied back and had the game tied 78-78 with 2.2 seconds on the clock. Daniel Ormund hitting the last-gasp winner.
Speaking following the win he says he was proud of the improvements shown by his team.
